Kubini - Comics from Africa.s Exhibition

November is coming! And this year, as part of the 2024 Novembre Numérique, Alliance Française Palmerston North is proud to present the exhibition Kubini - Comics from Africa.s''. 

Official opening on Friday 1 November at 6 pm. Drinks and nibbles will be served.
Free event, donations welcome.

Digital art exhibition from 1 to 30 November in the Square Edge Main Gallery. 

The Kubini*, comics from Africa.s exhibition is a roadmap built around three focal points and dedicated to the discovery of comics from Sub-Saharan Africa, from the past, the present and the future.

*Kubini means "imaginary creation" in Swahili. Swahili is part of the Bantu family of languages and spoken throughout Sub-Saharan Africa.

Animation movies will be shown in the FX Theatre on Saturdays at 2 pm:
