Alliance Française Palmerston North is proud to introduce the 2025 Edition of the Francophone Film Festival in celebration of
French Language and Francophonie Week in New Zealand.
The famous French comedy drama, Manon des Sources (Manon of the Spring), will be screened on Thursday 6 March at 6 pm at The
Globe Theatre, 312 Main St, Palmerston North.
The screening of this film is a NZ PREMIERE, and is the second part following Jean de Florette, screened on the opening night.
In part 2 of Jean de Florette, Manon seeks vengeance on the men who conspired to acquire her father’s land a decade ago..
Tickets for the closing night can be purchased from the Globe Theatre.
General admission $35, AF members $25. Tickets include a complimentary glass of wine from Beach House Wines, canapés and petit fours.
Drinks reception from 6 pm. The movie starts at 6.30 pm.
Screening in French with English subtitles.
